Why wouldn’t they have time to prepare? We all have to register and most register in advance. I guarantee you they know within a few hundred how many registrants they will have a few days after the early registration and reduced fee deadline expires. They know how many gift bags to prepare for +/- a few hundred.
The problem is no one wants to discuss what a the 19th hole would cost those players who want to use it if the WA did not charge every player for its existence. If the 19th hole is such a large part of the “experience” why not charge those people who feel that way and why should those who do not agree have to subsidize it?
In other words several people here claim the 19th hole is a large part of the experience. You have the option of registering for the 4 rounds of golf at $475 or you can register for golf and the 19th hole but it costs you $575. How many people think the 19th hole experience is worth $100.00, and would pay it?? How many players would pay $50 for their wives??
Hypothetically what I am suggesting is when you register you could sign up for:
$475.00 – Golf only
$575.00 – Golf and 19th hole
$50.00 – each additional 19th hole guest pass
