Terry, I know a lot of folks who live way north tend to wear cotton golf shirts. DON’T do it in South Carolina. Don’t wear anything that has cotton content if you are not used to the heat. And, wear light colors…nothing dark.
Also, if your hands sweat a lot, I would recommend using rain gloves.
Stay hydrated, water or Gatorade. Don’t drink a lot of alcohol while playing in the heat.
Hope you make it an every year event. It is definitely a lot of fun.
