Since they went to this about 3 years ago, I have been hit with playing my best golf right after the WA and therefore getting reduced 2 to 3 shots the next year. I agree with you that about half the field in any flight does not stand a chance because they do not have a correct handicap- some because of what you stated, some because they do not putt everything out in most of their rounds, some because they do not play it down all year. But what this system tries to do is protect the field form those that only post the bad rounds and never the good scores. In any Net Event, you will all ways have the Baggers, and in my flights, I think the WAd has done a good job on protecting the majority.
