Raymond you are correct, if your Son-in-law saved strokes by picking up at 9 it could have impacted. I do not know if or how the WA accounted for 9s when they calculated reductions and DQs, although I would have to think it entered into their equation somewhere. I don’t think a single 9 or even two 9s in a round would have any affect for a higher handicapper like your son-in-law. But I really don’t know.
