The last Covid-19 death is predicted to occur in June with a total of 50 deaths during the month of June. By mid May the death rate is expected to be less than 300 per day. As a reminder tens of thousands of people die every year from the regular flu, so while we may still have a case or two occur it will be far removed from the crisis status it has today, where we are losing over 1,000 people a day in the US. No death is good or acceptable but this virus is going to decline and it is going to start its decline very quickly in fact the apex is expected to occur this week.
For many people living in shelter and completely removed from social interaction it is difficult to see a light at the end of the tunnel, but the statistics say we are headed towards the end of the tunnel.
