The biggest problem I have seen is most do not understand the NEAREST POINT OF RELIEF and not the Nicest point of relief. This or not explained we’ll enough in the USGA material. It’s not where the ball is closest to, but where the clubbed is when you take your stance with the club you intend to play is. Know the difference between red and yellow penalty areas. And yes the local MB courses have Drp Zones that are not correct. They allow one that go into the PA to essentially pick up a shot on those that do not. Read the new definition on Temporary Water. In fact the Definitins clear up a lot of the rules. I hope the WA does the Rules Weminar this year as it is VERY HELPFUL. I also hope they use the Local Rule on “Dropping Back on the Line”. E -12
