This tournament was something like $275 in the early 80s. Adjusted for inflation, $600 is actually cheaper than $275. I understand $600 is a good amount of money, but they’ve done a great job accounting for just normal inflation, regardless of this year’s inflation. With this year’s inflation, it should be $800+, but up until last year, $600 is a bargain compared to when this tournament started.
