I have played in tournaments where Golf Genius was used but official scoring required an official scorecard signed with 2 signatures. As long as we must turn in scorecards, I could care less what else is used.
On a different thought, if we are checking up on our buddies, how much is that going to slow down play in a tournament that is already plagued by slow play?
