I don’t recall the live scoring ever being part of the WA. If it was, I never knew it was in place. I’d venture a guess that the 5% that was privy to it, were the only ones that knew about it. I never saw any mention about it.

I personally don’t think it takes away from any competative balance in the WA. I’m only suggesting that maybe the live scoring allows for others (family and friends that are not competing) to keep track while each round is going on. If you are promoting this event as “similar’ to a PGA event. Then why not have live scoring to keep track of what’s going on?
