To all (especially 1st time) gents running games…

I have been a Dedicated “Skills Game Coordinator” for my entire adult golf life. This is my 9th World Am, Running skins at the World Am each of the last 6 years, this will be #7. Most of the guys in my 2 Flights already know me, and they will gladly point the new guys my way if they hear about skins or ask.
South Carolina and The Founders courses can be real sticky with skins, and especially if you rake or pull a fee.
A couple of things to keep in mind…
Do not walk into the clubhouse and mention “skins.” The word will get out quickly enough if you mention to guys on the practice green or range.
Most of the group will gladly pay Monday for the week, getting $20 each day sucks…Ask for the $100, you have the right for taking on the game.
***Make sure you know ALL PLAYERS have turned scorecards into the pro shop before you pay out!***
Make a friend or 2 day one, so you have extra eyes to help make sure to do it correctly. One mistake can cause a major issue…(I Know!)
Some of the guys will buy you beers win or lose, and some will offer to tip you if they win. You have the right to accept or decline either.

If you are worried about making money, don’t do it…I do it because after collecting all the money Monday it is really just about paying out. Last year on Thursday, I even won a skin for $1,080, my 1st ever!
This is a golf trip for me not a family vacation, so I have the time to be there early and late daily.
