Got an update from a friend in Pauleys Island. He talked to someone playing at a club that is an “A” all the time, He said that he recently played Wedgefield last week. Last year he would rate playing conditions were at a 3 level but he would change that to an 8 for this year. Hopefully he is correct. I am still planning on checking for myself. I played a course today that is older and still has original greens to prepare myself. Wonder if I have time to see if USGA to approve my 8lb sledgehammer as a legal putter. It took me to the 18th to get a putt over 7 ft to the hole. Ain’t k
