Hello fellow WA’ers. I have landed in Flight 5 or 6 the last few years and have run the weekly skins game. Also, I am sure most of you have seen my name on this board. Although I am not a fan of tee times when it comes to running the skins game, I still want to make sure all those who want to have a game, have a game. To ensure there is one this year for whatever flight I end up in, I volunteer to do so. Unless someone objects.
With it being tee times, I will need the help of all the players who would like to get in. Saving time prior to Monday morning would be a tremendous relief and could make my first day go a bit smoother. Not knowing yet what tee times we will draw, I could be early and not get to see as many golfers beforehand.
I haven’t nailed down exactly how I will collect for those who won’t see the BB and/or are teeing off later on Monday, but when I do come up with a safe system, I will post it here AND have some kind of instruction at the course.

I plan to do so again, and have a few regular guys that have been in the same flight that help me with verifying daily. They will also vouch for me!
I’d prefer to collect the $20-$20-$20-$40=$100 the 1st day (I prefer this), and I plan to be there prior to the start of the 1st tee time and play Day 1. You are welcome to pay daily, just understand I am also there to golf and enjoy myself, it’s almost a pain in the ass collect every day.My cell# is 717-810-7401 and my email is cchanimal@gmail.com.

Yes…I will be easy to find, and a lot of the guys in the 11-12 flights already know who I am, just ask and they will point you my way! I will be there about 7-730 Monday!BOTH flights that are on my courses will be COMBINED, price/cost breakdown will be as follows:
Monday – $20
Tuesday $20
Wednesday – $20
Thursday – $40Rules are same as in the past. Gross birdies or better scores only. I will NOT accept any the next day or two days later (Yes, someone tried this!).
Winning skins will be paid out the day of unless you have to leave and in that case, I will gladly pay you the next morning.
Here is the MOST IMPORTANT RULE: I will NOT, repeat, NOT accept a course card to validate your score. I will only accept your WORLD AM card or a picture of it, but it must also have 2 signatures. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If you get done golfing before me and can’t wait, you can text me a picture with signatures or you can kindly wait around in the lounge until I finish my round.1 FINAL NOTE…IT IS 100% YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU RECORD THE CORRECT SCORE ON THE CORRECT HOLE, I.E. FRONT 9/BACK 9. CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CARD WHEN STARTING ON A HOLE!!! I ASSUME NO FAULT WHEN I SEE YOUR CARD AND RECORD A BIRDIE ON HOLE #1, WHEN YOU ACTUALLY MADE THAT BIRDIE ON HOLE #10. If your scorecard is incorrect, not only do you lose a skin, but you are going to be DQ’ed from the World Am too…

I turned in a low of 16.2 hdcp. and will be in the over 70 flight. Might need some help to run game with tee times but was able to do it last time. Skins Game Flights 14 & 15
To make it easy on everyone, especially me, it would be great if everyone who intends to participate in the skins game can pay in full on Monday. This also helps in those rarest of occasions when the pot roles over from the previous day, if you did not participate on the prior day you cannot join on that day. Skins buy-in will be $20, $20, $20 & $40 for a total of $100. For ease of scoring, I will combine both flights into one pot; this should make for nice payouts.
Typical skins rules:
• Birdies or better on a hole to win a skin.
• Two birdies on a hole cut the hole.
• Should there be a day that all skins are cut the pot will roll over to the next day.
• On the last day if all skins are cut, I will put all participants’ names in a hat and draw 5 winners to split the pot equally.
Any birdies turned in for scoring should be done as follows:
• Text me a picture of your official scorecard with all signatures. State in the text your name and hole birdie or better was scored on.
• All text for birdies to be scored need to be received by me no later than 5:00pm the day of the round Any text after 5:00pm will not be scored, this gives me time to score and notify winners in a reasonable time.
• All winners will be notified by text that night of their winnings and their money will be available for pick up the next morning.
• I will make sure to be at the course at least 30 minutes before the first tee time so everyone can get their money.
• On the last day I will stay at the course until play is over and make payouts at the course.If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Gentlemen we drew Lockwood Folly on our first day this will be a shotgun start
for us. To all that will be getting into the skins game please have your $100 on Monday for the week. The breakdown is 20 20 20 for M/T/W and 40 on Thursday. I run both flights together and separate flights on Thursday. Skins will be gross not net (birdies or better). After your round I will be in the bar to record your skins if you have any. This is your responsibility
to see me or Jeff Stapleton with your world am score card before turning it in. When my round is done i will be in the bar asap. I have been doing skins since 2012 in my two flights. Anyone can email me or text for more information because it looks like we have alot more new golfers by the looks of my old sheets. I’m a CPA and the one thing I’d like to offer everyone in the flight is accountability. I will have available via PDF the signup sheets, total Paid in and total payouts. I intend to use a Skins app to record the results, if you send me your Name, email and phone, I’ll set you up in the app. Once setup you will be able to see courses players and results

I plan to run a skins game for Flights 12 & 13. My name is Troy Puryear, my cell# is 252-717-9709, and my email is tnp74@yahoo.com. I will include both flights (12 & 13) into one pool.
It would be exceptionally easier for everyone if I can collect the full buy-in ($100 cash) prior to tee-off on Day 1. I will be at Legends – Parkland to sign-up and collect all buy-ins at 6:30 am, until it is time for me to tee-off. You can also catch up with me Sunday (8/25), if more convenient. You can pay daily, if you must, but I may not be as accessible prior to play on later days, and if you miss out…you miss out. Also, in the event that there is a rollover, you cannot enter if you were not in for the previous day.
Monday – $20 Tuesday – $20 Wednesday – $20 Thursday – $40…….Total – $100A message of intent to buy-in is not good enough, you are not in until I get your entry fee. Make sure you turn in your SCORER AND ATTESTED SIGNED “OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT SCORECARD” ONLY, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!, in the clubhouse after each round, prior to turning it in to the official scorer. If you cannot wait around, text a photo of the signed official scorecard along with your name. Scores not provided to me within an hour after the round will not be considered for skins (I cannot hold up payouts due to inconsideration). I will pay out that day if you wait around, after I enter all scores, or the next morning if you cannot. Only gross birdies or better are eligible for a winning skin. If no skins are won on any day (by cancelled-out scores or cancelled rounds), the pot will roll-over to the next day. If there are no skins on the final day, the pot will be split between all final day 2-man skins (holes with only 2 low scores).
Looking forward to another fun year at MBWA.

I have posted here previously that I would volunteer to run the skins in flights 5 or 6 because that’s where I’ve been the last few years. But, since participants in the 49 & under division are down, I ended up in Flight 4. Having said that, I don’t mind running them for BOTH 3 & 4 this year.The game will be $100 for the week ($20,20,20 & 40). You are welcome to pay ahead of time via Venmo (info below) or the first day of the tournament. PLEASE, pay for the week, as it really helps save time on Tues-Thur.
