My grandson is a 17 handicap at 12 years old. Is there a minimum age requirement to compete in the World AM/

From the FAQ page:
Who can participate?
To participate in a handicapped division you must have a valid USGA / WHS handicap AND be 17 years of age or older. Anyone may participate in the ‘Just for Fun’ division. Anyone may participate in the Gross & Senior Gross (50+) Division.
