Think I’m starting to peek at the right time. Yesterdays men’s club I started off bogie, quadruple bogey. I was 5 over after two holes then ended up shooting a 1 over par 73 way to grind it out. I was very pleased with myself. Take my 6 handicap strokes off that and it would have been a good opening round come Aug 28th

Sounds great except one small issue Harry. You said you are playing in the gross. 73 is still a 73 ?

Had another great round today at a phenomenal Course. I shot a 1-over par 73 at Woodlands Country Club with the Indiana State Senior Golf Association. I had a double on hole 4 after approach shot hit a few inches short of a front pin and caught the sprinkler head sending if 40 yards over the back into a filthy lie. Watch out Senior Grossers, Im the one to beat, only 21 more days before the azz whippin begins

Harry, I am glad you are much younger than me. I have not peaked yet. Shot 80 today on course that is 6800 yards and a slope of 134. Had 5 three putts, working with a new putter. Think I need to go back to my old putter. See you in the finals on Friday if I get my putter working and don’t make stupid mistakes. Indax is 4.1, so no room for error for this 72 year old hack!

Harry…1 over par (73) with a 6 handicap. That sounds like a World Am DQ to me. 🙂
    See you at the beach.
