I was flying on American Airlines this week with my clubs. Arriving in Miami on Monday they said my clubs didn’t make my flight but would be on the next one. I was out on the tarmac when the flight came in, watched them unload all the bags and still no clubs. AA says they are on route to my hotel but I know they weren’t on the flight. I guess I will be playing with some through together set. AA tells me they have 30 days to find my clubs so if I buy replacement clubs and they find them, they wont pay the bill I send to them. For all you folks flying to MB, I would take careful inventory of your clubs. With the club cover, bag, balls, rangefinder, shoes, clubs and goretex rain wear, I am at $4100. They cover a max of $3500. I only spent about $28,000 flying last year on AA and am Platinum level. Eight calls to both baggage and the Platinum line and still no luck. I am playing tomorrow in running shoes and with rented NIKE clubs. I can’t wait! Good luck to those of you that only fly a couple times a year!
