Gary, I would think it maybe possible? But, unlikely. This year I played toa 13.9 and shot scores of 91,92,87,86. I struggled but know I could have done better myself after thinking about the shots I could have made. I will say that the scores that you mention had to be within the confines of the program they use to weed out sandbaggers. The computer has no horse in this race…
When you are playing course ratings of 63 and 64 yes its entirely possible. As you can tell, a 17 handicap getting only 9 or 10 shots means a really low course rating. It is a common misconception that an X handicap will shoot X over par. Much more goes into it.
