I struggled but know I could have done better myself after thinking about the shots I could have made. When you are playing course ratings of 63 and 64 yes its entirely possible. As you can tell, a 17 handicap getting only 9 or 10 shots means a really low course rating. It is a common misconception that an X handicap will shoot X over par. Much more goes into it.
