Hello someone may know the answer to this. My question is as follows, I played in the world am two years ago and was not able to the last few years. I also do not have any tournament rounds under my card this year. Im currently at a 17 handicap index. My low 12 months is a 13.4, That was as of september of last year. What type of reduction can I expect and what handicap index do you think I will go into competition as. Thank you Im looking forward to a return this year, I just wish my game was better. see everyone in a few weeksAugust 5, 2019 at 1:49 pm #46482Scott T. – World AmKeymaster
Based on those factors it’s probably you’ll be placed at that low 12 of 13.4. Thank you.August 5, 2019 at 1:53 pm #46483Tommy BriggsBlocked
I would think they will use the lowest of:
1. Your current = 17
2. Your 12 month lowest = 13.4
3. Your prior WA = 16
I would expect you handicap will be 13.4 with a 2% reduction for 0 tournament rounds = 13.13
Just a SWAG using the info the WA providesAugust 5, 2019 at 2:07 pm #46484stephen bastienParticipant
Thank you very much for the information, hope i go in at the 13.13 that would be good. See everyone at the beach in a few weeks
