Aftet just having a year off with very little golf due to do an arm injiry i was scheduled for surgery today to fix it thinking I would have been recovered by the New Year. I had just finished a phone call with Ryan at the wam office telling him I fully intended coming to Q School … well that was short lived. Within half an hour I went to the hospital with a major heart attack and had to get two stints put in. In bed recovering Now with the doctor telling me I cannot have any exertive exercise for 6 months so there goes my thoughts of Q School. Hoping to be back by the world am in August

Damn Harry. sorry to hear this. Guess you really are willing to do anything to get the WA to let you play at a higher handicap. 🙂
    Get well soon.

Well Dang Harry !!! Happy New Year to you and hope you are feeling better hate to hear you were having issue’s there with the ticker…Hope you will soon recover and are able to make Q School in March…I’m on the fence been thinking about playing Q School tournament this year but haven’t made up my mind just yet It’s getting to the point that price versus the prizes are not really all that good anymore and at a average cost of 110. a round with some of the courses that’s on the rotation well you get what I’m saying I’m sure…Good luck to you wishing you a speedy recovery!!!

    Hey Bob,
Yes I believe we did I think it was around the end of 2021 or early 2022 I ended up having rotator cuff surgery in Feb. 2022 and missing the Q school tournament last March that I had wanted to play in. Anyway after the surgery there was no golfing for me until mid July 2022 but now with about a year after the surgery I am almost getting back to where my golf game was before I fell and screwed it up.

Good to hear Mike. I did great after my shoulder replacement but just as soon as I got back to playing solid the left knee went out. So I had it replaced and struggled with that recovery. Then in July 22, was diagnosed with a herniated disc and have dealt with “resting it”. Have not really played since July 12. Going to start testing it on the course next week. Getting old ain’t fun. Hopefully we both will be playing good in 5he near future. Take care
