In the new rules, ready golf is encouraged to speed up pace of play. As we all know it can get pretty slow during the world am. Does anyone have issues with playing ready golf? It would not be an issue for me. Please try to keep it positive.July 6, 2019 at 10:13 am #46188Landis CouringtonParticipant
YES to Ready Golf. My buddies and I always play ready golf, it gives the slower players in our foursomes time to decide if the 9 iron I hit from this distance last round is the 9 iron I should hit today.July 6, 2019 at 3:33 pm #46189Rick KimbrellParticipant
This will be my 32nd year to play in the WA. In all those years, never encountered anyone who was opposed to playing ready golf. Since we don’t play Match Play, there has never been an issue.July 7, 2019 at 4:36 pm #46200Tommy BriggsBlocked
Ready golf has been a part of the rules for many years.
The only time I step aside on the tee is for a birdie, it is bad juju to take the tee from a birdie.July 7, 2019 at 7:24 pm #46202Bob NewmanParticipant
Last time I hit in front of a birdie, I had to marry his sister later that day. That was 44 years ago. I have only encountered one individual that was upset about not getting to hit first on one tee. The rest of us didn’t listen to him. Has always been ready golf for malority of players.
