    If during the week you are unfortunate enough to hit a ball into a penalty area or an area requiring relief your playing partners Cannot suggest what you should you do but they are allowed to inform you of the rules should you ask which brings the most important four words you will speak during the week

    WHAT ARR MY OPTIONS

    Some penalty areas there may be up to 5 different options for releif. It is your job to decide which one is best suited for your situation. In miking that decision here is another 10 words to remember

    CONCEDE THE BOGIE
    ELIMINATE THE DOUBLE
    PAR IS A BONUS

    A Few other phrases to remember
    1. I’m playing a Provisional (b4 you hit it)
    2. when playing 2balls -BEFORE taking any action, DECLARE which Ball you want to Count if rules allow, and REPORT to Committee that you played 2 balls (even if score is same on both balls. DQ if you fail to report.

    Also, it would be prudent in any questionable situation to take a photo with your phone for the committee.

    When someone leaves a long putt short and it’s still their turn: “Wow, that’s a USGA putt”… (U suck, go again!). 😀
