Well this was my first year playing in the Q school tournament it was fun played with a bunch of new faces that I haven’t seen in the world am…
at $ 299.00 I guess you could look at it like you are paying 100. bucks a round courses I had were1- Eagles Nest – This course should not have been in the rotation at all with over 60 courses in Myrtle this should have never made the cut…
2nd course was Burning Ridge I did enjoy this course Greens and Fairway’s were in good shape…a keeper for sure…
3rd course was Caledonia Golf & Fish club another Keeper for sure another course that’s always in great shape…
All in all I had a great time enjoyed the golf froze my A** off on Tue. lol the temp. was so bad that day…March 20, 2021 at 10:56 am #48893Tommy BriggsBlockedMike I had the same rotation you did, and I enjoy the Q School despite I played some of the worst golf I have ever played in my life. I also enjoyed Burning Ridge although I thought it was January in Chicago when we teed off. I will probably play it again Sunday during the World Am week.
Caledonia is always great, and I was surprised at the time we played considering it was cart paths only, I fully expected a 5.5 hour round. We teed off at 9:12 and finished in 4.5 hours.
Eagle Nest was definitely my least favorite. Playing in the world Am I always expect one dog, one primo course and two average to above average courses. I did not think we would see any dogs in nine course event but Eagle Nest was disappointing.

Since the border is closed between the US and Canada I couldn’t have made it. I have everything set up for the WA. I am bringing two new guys this year. Our idiot Prime Minister better open the border and cancel the stupid quarantine policy that he put in place.

Seemed they had dumped a bunch of sand/clay on the greens probably after an aeration and rolled them hard. They tried to make them playable but there was practically no grass and it affected putting. That was very disappointing as Pine Lakes is usually in perfect shape. All rounds were 5 1/2 hours or more. Event was very well run and especially liked how skins were handled versus WAM.

Yep I agree the event was well run but the skins game heck no had I known it was a net skins game I would not got into the skins it’s a little ruff when you have to spot the course 3 shots I just don’t care for a net skins game when some handicaps are just not right…March 23, 2021 at 7:11 am #48900david tianoParticipantBruce,
The rotation was Pine Lakes, Prestwick and Carolina National. Carolina National was the best of the group in conditions.
Believe Me Carolina National is head and shoulders over Carolina Shores - AuthorPosts
