Is there any regular skins person doing it in flights 19 & 20 this year? I did an impromptu skins last year because there was no one else that wanted to do it. If no one else volunteers for this year I will be happy to do it. If no one volunteers by Wednesday the 26th I will reply in this post with what I plan to do as far as rules and payout. I promise nothing crazy, same stuff you have probably heard in every skins game you have ever entered. I am thinking $20 a day entry unless the majority want to do $40 on the last day.

Scott, I am in flight 19 and in the past years we did 20-20-20-40. What ever everybody wants is good with me. I would help you but I have no clue what to do. I am sure there are plenty of guys who know what and how to do it.

I also like paying the full amount on Monday. It makes it a lot easier for the skins guy.

OK, not sure if someone else will step up to run the skins game but here is what I intend to do if no one else does.
I will be at the course early on Monday to collect money hopefully by 7:00 am. I will be inside the clubhouse, probably in the snack bar.
I will put up a signs showing where I am located.
I will collect skins money up until the time I have to leave to go to my tee time. To make it easy on everyone, especially me, it would be great if everyone who intends to participate in the skins game can pay in full on Monday. This also helps in those rarest of occasions when the pot roles over from the previous day, if you did not participate on the prior day you cannot join on that day. Skins buy-in will be $20, $20, $20 & $40 for a total of $100. Because of the smaller flights, I will combine both flights into one pot; this should make for nice payouts.
Typical skins rules, birdies or better on a hole to win a skin. Two birdies on a hole cuts the hole. Should there be a day that all skins are cut the pot will roll over to the next day. On the last day if all skins are cut, I will put all participants’ names in a hat and draw 5 winners to split the pot equally.
Any birdies turned in for scoring should be done as follows:
    1. Text me a picture of your official scorecard with all signatures. State in the text your name and hole birdie was scored on
    2. All text for birdies to be scored need to be received by me no later than 7:00pm the day of the round Any text after 7:00pm will not be scored, this gives me time to score and notify winners in a reasonable time.
    3. All winners will be notified by text that night of their winnings and their money will be available for pick up the next morning. I will make sure to be at the course at least 30 minutes before the first tee time so everyone can get their money.
    4. On the last day I will stay at the course until play is over and make payouts at the course.
It would be helpful if anyone who intends to participate could send me a text with your name prior to the event. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

First time playing in this event so excuse me for this question if it seems silly, How is the payout on skins work, are we being paid on Gross birdies or net birdies? Hopefully my shoulder is good to go but im in for skins, like Michael said, you cant win if you dont play. I look forward to meeting everyone! Have a safe trip!

    John,
Most all flights is Gross score to win a skin it’s just to much trouble to do handicap’s in the skin games…
