Ok it has been 4 years since I have played World Am. So is the infamous max 9 rule still in effect I have seen discussion about on the board over the last few years? It’s not listed in the info area that I can find.

1.Yes…Max 9 Rule
2.NEW as of 2020 – Assigned Tee Times
3.NEw as of 2020 – All the Covid Stuff. 🙂August 10, 2021 at 6:48 am #49499Michael KestelParticipantSo handicap rules as far as scoring are not in effect? Meaning the highest net score on any one hole is +2.
August 10, 2021 at 7:58 am #49500Scott T. – World AmKeymasterMichael – the max 9 is for tournament purposes to keep pace of play moving. The net double bogey is only a rule for posting to your handicap. You can still make a 9 on a hole at the event, you’d just have to post it to your handicap as a net double bogey.
August 10, 2021 at 9:17 am #49501William Aleshire Jr.ParticipantIf you use the GHIN App to post your scores using the hole by hole feature, The program will automatically adjust the score using the net double bogey rule.
Also don’t forget to mark your round as a tournament round. 🙂
August 10, 2021 at 9:50 am #49502Tom McCainParticipantScott, I’m a little behind the times as I didn’t play last year. Are we going with tee times or shotgun start this year?
August 10, 2021 at 11:32 am #49504Mike CheesemanParticipantTom WA are using tee times. It is posted in the app.
August 10, 2021 at 12:28 pm #49506Tom McCainParticipantThanks Mike. I probably won’t run skins this year for that reason. Unless someone has a good plan on implementing them.
