There has been numerous questions/inquires but Scott or any other staff members have yet to respond. On most threads there is some type of question with no response from staff members.
Please someone from the World Am scan through these posts and answer the questions.
Thanks!June 26, 2020 at 10:56 am #47497Tommy BriggsBlockedA month ago cities that were hot spots have since reopen ed

We have over two months before the WA kicks off
tell us what things will be like in 2 months and I am sure Scott will be more than glad to tell you how they will proceedJune 27, 2020 at 10:55 am #47505Scott T. – World AmKeymasterApologies we’ve been out of office this week operating our college event. Will follow up on some of the BB this weekend.

We are living in strange times and anxieties are a little high, the best thing the staff could do right now is to keep lines of communication open, even it is to say nothing has changed. Look forward to seeing you guys in August and know you’re working hard to make a good shot out of a bad lie. Thank you.

With South Carolina having 14- day Quarantine on some states for COVID 19, how will this work with our Pre-Tournament and World Am Tournament we have already signed up for? Just in case the Quarantine is not lifted by the time World Am starts.July 14, 2020 at 6:22 am #47619Terry DavisParticipantBill M~That is the reason I had to cancel my entry. I live in a state that requires a 14 day quarantine upon returning from a state that’s a “hot spot”. My wife and I couldn’t afford to take two weeks off without pay. Maybe we cancelled early but we couldn’t take that chance. I guess I’ll wait till next year for the World Amateur. It really hurt clicking on the cancel button. Best of luck to all and be safe.

This and the 14 day quarantine and the amount of cases south of the border is my reason for backing out. It sucks to lose $50.00 because of the pandemic but my health and welfare is more important. See you all next and be safe!
July 14, 2020 at 12:23 pm #47622Brian DeBlisParticipantWhere do you see that the SC border is closed and 14 day quarantine? I was on the https://www.scdhec.gov/infectious-diseases/viruses/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/travelers-covid-19
website and there is no mention of this. The city of Myrtle Beach is requiring masks in public spaces, but nothing on closing borders. A link would be helpful unless it is just rumors.July 14, 2020 at 12:39 pm #47623Tommy BriggsBlockedI think they are talking about the Canadian border
July 14, 2020 at 2:02 pm #47624Mike CheesemanParticipantYes the Canadian border is closed for cars, trains and boats. You can still fly from Canada to the US. I may use that option. Someone commented about quarantining for 14 days. Now I know if I fly in and return I have to quarantine for 14 days upon arriving back in Canada. Is there a law in NC or SC about quarantining when arriving there.
July 14, 2020 at 2:44 pm #47625Tommy BriggsBlockedNo such law, when you arrive, you step off the plane, tee it up and go.
July 14, 2020 at 4:28 pm #47627Mike CheesemanParticipantAwesome. I have to fly into Charlotte NC if I want a non stop from Toronto.
