    Check out Titlist new C16 Irons. Pricey but not as much as the PXG.

    Scott, thanks- I have not seen those yet. I plan on checking all that look good to the eye when you set them down. I change irons about every 3-4 years to attempt to keep up the technology but still think they should “kinda” resemble the old clubs and not look like a chunk of metal. Michael Breed on the golf fix talks a great deal about the AP1 & 2’s.

    Bob, look fast. The C16 are some limited edition prototype clubs that the R&D department at Titlist put together, I think there were only 1000 sets made. The whole idea was what could they do with new technology any materials if price were not a consideration. They claim the irons will average 8 yards longer per club because of materials and construction. You also must be fitted for clubs before they will even sell them to you.
