Glad you are on the road to recovery Bill! Listen to your doctor and your body. Don’t rush things. The World Am is a long ways off.

Bernie LoehrParticipantThose of us who played in Flight 51 at Oyster Bay played a much longer course than 5500 yards. One of the players who used his GPS said it was probably close to 6200
Bernie LoehrParticipantThere is a review on its website from six days ago saying it is in great shape and they would recommend playing it!
Bernie LoehrParticipantPrefer shotgun
Bernie LoehrParticipantInteresting to hear the comments about Azalea Sands. I did not go there but I had heard they had a multi million dollar renovation. When I played there a few years ago, they didn’t have a scorecard, bar or anything. I guess the investment didn’t succeed.
Bernie LoehrParticipantI went to use my $225 gift certificate from 2019 on Friday. It had been used by someone in Texas in 2020. They still honored it. They also told me that the same day someone had tried to use a $300 gift certificate from 2019 and again someone had used it. I had received mine via email. I spoke to my golfing partner and he told me that an actual $100 gift card he had received was swiped by someone. He learned this when he tried to order on line.
Bernie LoehrParticipantLegends driving range is huge.
Bernie LoehrParticipantThis is my 25th year so no new courses. However I think this is the group of courses I have in 25 years as I have Long Bay, Oyster Bay, Litchfield and Prestwick. I think Prestwick is the best course down there. Do others agree this is a good group of courses?
Bernie LoehrParticipantI usually go to a nearby course to warm up. Caledonia, one of the best courses, does not have a range so I go to True Blue to warm up
Bernie LoehrParticipantYou will love Tidewater. But it is tough.
Bernie LoehrParticipantI drew Long Bay, Oyster Bay, Litchfield and Prestwick. I believe that is the best grouping I have had in the 24 years I have played. Great job Scott! Playing primarily for fun as I am still recovering from neck fusion surgery 15 weeks ago. Just starting to take full swings. Spent two hours each day last seven weeks chipping and putting. I should have done that many years ago.
Bernie LoehrParticipantAzalea Sands just did a major renovation.
It will be interesting to see the changes.Bernie LoehrParticipantKen,
Lots of great suggestions here. I have been coming since 1985. It was so different then. Our choices were Micolob beer and Johnny Walker. Pretzels and potato chips until the last night they had shrimp. Look forward to just having fun and meeting great people. I last played March 27. Had neck fusion surgery on May 5 and can start swinging a club on August 9. I shouldn’t even be going but I have so much fun and meet so many friends. Enjoy!Bernie LoehrParticipantI would be interested in Friday afternoon. I live in Pinehurst and will be driving over Friday morning.
