James McLeaParticipantReceived my pga superstore ecard today by email.
James McLeaParticipantNothing yet, no trophies or gift cards.
James McLeaParticipantI agree, especially having to stand around waiting for the group in front to make a shot and it is hovering around 95-100 degrees and 95% humidity.
James McLeaParticipantI know he would win a free entry into next years WA and I believe a 600.00 pga card.
As far as the pairs winners they won as quoted:
Grand Prize: Golf trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for 4 nights accommodations and 4 rounds of golf for two people. Winners will choose from Play Golf Myrtle Beach lodging and golf course partners. Grand Prize must be taken by December 31st, 2027, is non-transferable and may not be taken as separate holidays.
Additional prizes are the following:
• 2nd Place: $250 off the 2027 World Am entry fee per player!
• 3rd Place: $150 off the 2027 World Am entry fee per player!
• 4th Place: $100 off the 2027 World Am entry fee per player!
• 5th Place: $75 off the 2027 World Am entry fee per player!
• 6th – 10th Place: $50 off the 2027 World Am entry fee per player!*Trip valued at up to $1000 per person. Please review the USGA’s Amateur Status Rules
The USGA (rule 3) limits the prize value to 1000.00 per player so they did not win a 7500.00 trip. I believe that was awarded to a prize drawing winner.
James McLeaParticipant3000 players registered and were expected to play, but for various unknown reasons 36 players did not show up. There were many flights if you look at them that show players in a flight and assigned tee times but they just did not show up to play. I asked at the CC about missing players and Scott told me that some people just don’t show up and they do not notify the committee that they would not be there. My case is an example of how people can be pretty undependable……I paid to play in a pairs team with a guy (Jack Seaboldt) who asked for people to pair up with him. I paid 50.00 to be his partner and we played all four rounds and we both played well enough to qualify for the final at Grand Dunes. Come the morning of the final I sat waiting for him who never showed up and never called the course or committee to let them know. So I could not compete in the pairs final. The tournament directors were dumbfounded that anyone would do that. Fortunately for me I was a flight winner so I competed in the final championship round.
It sucks that people who do this don’t realize or don’t care that they are taking a spot away from someone who really wanted to play.

James McLeaParticipantGo to the home page and click on where it says “learn more” then right after the winners info click where it says “final leader boards”
James McLeaParticipantNow it is under the winners info, says leader boards.
James McLeaParticipantOn the home page there is a link to live scores and results.
James McLeaParticipantYou might get a bigger response if you clearly state that 100% of the entry money goes into the prize pool.
James McLeaParticipantWorks for both.
James McLeaParticipantCar is full so cannot offer any more rides. (flights 46 and 47)
Jim
James McLeaParticipantI can’t even imagine the WAM would even consider this. Think of the amount of work and chaos it would create. Not to mention having to reprint all the assignment sheets and making sure friends were not being put together.
James McLeaParticipantChristopher
First just write down your tee times and starting hole for each day.
Then go to your flight and just click on each name and see if they are staring at the same time on the same hole.
I know it sounds like it would take a long time but it is pretty quick, takes about 10 minutes to go through the list.James McLeaParticipantBill
