The Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship is truly a global event. Each year, more than 25 countries are represented in the 5 day tournament with almost 10% of the more than 3,300 participants coming from outside the United States.

Each Year, the Myrtle Beach World Amateur is a final destination for many International Tours from around the globe. Hosting large groups from China, Portugal, Germany and Canada along with many individuals and smaller groups from over 20 additional countries.

Marketing company Olle Sports, based in Guangzhou, has been hosting World Am events throughout China since 2012. With great success, they have generated much excitement about the event throughout the country, and have brought more than 30 players to Myrtle Beach in just the first two years. Olle Sports now acts as the Cooperation Liaison Office of the World Amateur Handicap Championship in the Asia-Pacific Region and Eastern Europe, to promote the Event and explore liaison agent companies in the areas specified.
