Number of scores needed

Good morning WAM staff. I have a question regarding number of scores entered. My girlfriend played in the World Am in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Unfortunately she was injured last year and could not play. She started playing again in February 2017. My question is, will she be penalized if she doesn’t have 20 scores in by the start of the tournament? Her last round before injuring herself was in July of 2016. Looking forward to playing again this year.

James – It is possible she could be reduced for lack of scores though it is not a guarantee. We have a percent reduction scale based on total scores in last 12 months. The less scores the higher the reduction. However, that only comes off of your current index as of August 15, 2017. We also compare that number against the lowest index she’s had in the last 12 months and take whichever is lower.

IE:
Current index 20
Reduction for scores 4% = 19.2
Lowest index in last twelve months = 19.5
Lower of the two, 19.2

So the reverse effect should apply as well. If I have 20 TOURNAMENT scores and all 20 rounds suck, would I get a 1% addition for every bad round recorded.
