Yeah the year before the Par 4 stuff ran very big, this year I go down a size and it’s way to snug, but my dad enjoyed getting a nice new polo and pullover!

Joe, lmao, I could of definitely used a few extra up there for sure, I got lucky and hit a ton of fairways or otherwise known as the short rough lol, didn’t help me with the greens either tho, since like 6 had casual water, missed a 5fter on 12 while watching the ball throw up a rooster tail of water like it was a jet ski from me pounding the ball hard enough to go 20ft haha

    Danny,

He’s exposing him and his nephew and possible cheaters, flight players beware in the future!!

    Lindy,

It’s also a lot easier for a high handicap to bring extra sand with themselves, a low handicap has no reason to, a person whom is a 4 is probably just missing a few extra greens than a scratch or his proximity is further away, it’d only take a good day of ball striking or a hot putter for them to shoot near or even par!

Hahaha Got Em!!! I got rerated one year, definitely wasn’t happy about it, was the best round of my life in the World Am, but stuff happens, I sucked it up, and still come back, won my flight last year and got a Top 5 this year! Learned to be proud if you get dinged for having a crazy good round instead of pissed off! But I also dropped my handicap each year and was down like 3-4 pts this year, work hard, be honest!

    Tee Times – Awesome
3 Person Single Carts – Even More Awesome
4 Hour Rounds Max – Best World Am Ever minus some of the dog tracks!!!

I say stick with the 36 person flight or whatever works, and then just have more flights with tighter handicaps, then make all those flights scratch once your flighted, that way a guy doesn’t end up with 1-4 more strokes more than the low and end up winning due to the extra strokes!

But please check out the courses pre AM, I’ve never had a real complaint over courses, but the Cats Courses should of never been used, plenty of other nice courses to utilize, like Myrtlewood Palmetto and a few others!!!

Lions Paw….hmmm let me say it like this, I wouldn’t let my cattle and goats out to eat on the junk they have, the pro made an excuse about the abundance of rain in the last few weeks….why do you have weeds that are over ankle high in the bunkers, bunkers didn’t look like they’d been touched in weeks, weeds in places that were knee deep, how about some roundup, if you can survive playing at Lions Paw you can definitely survive Covid!!! I’ve never in my 7 years ever encountered a course this bad, Lions Paw makes places like Crown Park, Colonial Charters, Azalea Sands, Beachwood, Hackler (which is nice now), look like gems! A lady in the parking lot said she lived there and we’re members and was ashamed of the place! We had casual water on the greens like they’d watered them haha! Long Story Short…..The Big Cats Have Used Up Their 9 Lives!!!

Phil, what happened if someone didn’t find a ball in the rough?

If you play the Norman Course at Barefoot, good luck with the pool noodles, they sit above the top of the cup themselves and maybe a half the ball will sit in the cup, firm putts will bounce out of a few holes, the noodles need to be trimmed down at least another 1.5″, plus the bunkers haven’t been raked in a while!

I haven’t played the Cats courses in quite a while but from what I’m hearing here and others before this, I’ve heard the Cats courses may be some of the biggest goat tracks around the beach area, I was told that Crown Park and Azelea Sands were gems compared to any of the Cats courses, wish this wasn’t true, guess everyone better prepare for bad conditions and high scores!

Honestly, you shouldn’t be hanging out that much longer, other than the Norman Course the first tee time to the last is basically a hour and half, long as people don’t lolly gag around in the parking lot and gets stuff in!

Lockwood is a neat track, a good mix of holes, last time I played there the greens were firm and slightly on the slick side if ya had a downhill putt, it’s a course that has a few places that make ya go hmm off the tee box that if you gamble and pull it off you can have some short shots, but can play it safe too! Hackler has been in great shape, I played it just over a month ago and the greens were amazing, fairways plush and nice! If you are playing the white tees it has a good mix of short par 4s and long ones as well! As Harry said there are a couple greens near tee boxes but not a ton!!

    Raymond,

I know a few places were closed a while back due to staff having caught Covid, but other than a few which I think most are open back up, they may close earlier than normal, like 10-11pm!
