Following is info for Skins for Flights 43/44. Seeing that skins for these flights will be separate this year, if someone else wants to run the game for flight 43 they can. If not I can do both flights. There are 55 players in flight 43 and 53 in flight 44 and there is a 7 stroke difference between the lowest and highest HDCP.
• ONLY SCORES FROM YOUR OFFICIAL, SIGNED SCORECARD (not the tear off at the bottom) WILL BE ACCEPTED. A snapshot can be used to show, text or email me. Make sure I reply to your email or text. If not, call me.
• $20 for each of the first 3 days and $40 for Thursday ($100 total for the week}
• This year the flights will be separated ( 7 shot difference between lowest and highest HDCP)
• I will be in the bar area each day after the round but depending on which hole I start on and which hole you start on it may be some time before we connect. You are welcome to text or email your card to me if you don’t want to wait around. Must send it to me by 5:00 PM.
• As long as my computer and printer don’t fail me, I will post the skins on a sheets near the putting green the next morning. Please text me for payout. For Thursday, make sure I have contact info for you before you leave.
• If there are no skins the last day, any tied eagles will split. We will then go to any ties on the most difficult hole (#1HDCP, etc.) and those tied birdies on the most difficult hole will split. Make sure I have contact info for you before you leave.
• If there is a rainout the last day please see me before leaving for your refund.Any question: contact Dennis Daley, 513-702-1820 (phone or text), email, ddaley1999@aol.com

First year in the”super senior” flight and would be happy to run the skins game. Played 10 years in the WA and have run the skins game around half of those years. I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes if someone has done these flights in the past, just offering. Also would like to know if you feel we should keep the flights separate seeing how there is a 7 point difference?Dennis DaleyParticipantThanks for the help Paul. I see that there are three selections for the Pairs Competition. Does that mean that you could play with three different partners?
Dennis DaleyParticipantDoes anybody know how you can sign up for the pairs competition once you have registered for the tournament?

The last couple years I was in a flight that someone else ran the skins game. I ran the skins games prior to that. I am willing to run the game for these flights unless someone else steps up and wants to do it. I would prefer to collect for the entire week($100) but can do individual days if YOU want to find me before teeing off each day.I will show up early on Monday in order to collect as many as possible before I tee off. If I don’t get you before I tee off and you are interested in playing in the skins game you must text or email me before you TeeOff and I will stay after my round in order to collect your fee. Please make sure you find me when you are done.
1.Only scores from your official, signed scorecard will be accepted(not the tear off strip on the bottom) A snapshot can be used to show, email or text me. Make sure I reply to your email or text. If not, call me.
2.$20 for the first 3 days and $40 for Thursday.
3.As long as my computer and printer don’t fail me, I will post the skins on the practice Green the next morning. For Thursday make sure I have contact info for you before you leave. (I will have this if you text or email your card to me.)
4.If there are no skins that day or we have a rainout, the payout will carryover to the next day (assuming you paid both days).
5.If there are no skins the last day, any tied eagles will split, we will then go to any ties on the most difficult hole (#1 HDCP, etc.) and those tied birdies on the most difficult hole will split.
6.If there is a rainout the last day please see me before leaving for your refund. Text or email me if we don’t show up to the course.

email ddaley1999@aol.comDennis DaleyParticipantLooks like with the tee times I have all week will work out for the skins game. I have a 9:24 time on Monday and plan on getting to the course by 7:00 in order to get as many signed up as possible. My times the rest of the week are early enough that I will be there to post and payout for the previous day. I will stay Thursday until the last group is in. If anyone wants to pay electronically in advance I will accept Zelle. Please use my phone number for this, 5137021820.
Harry, congrats for winning the WA last year and good luck to the rest of the guys in your flight😁. Thanks for the suggestion on the side game but the software I use does not allow for changes within the skins game. I know you just entered our age group but I’m on the other end and next year will be my last in this group. Maybe you can do skins next year.
Thanks for the offer to help but with tee times it just makes it more difficult to coordinate. I should have most the work done ahead of time to make it easier. With guys texting or emailing their cards also helps. I wouldn’t expect guys that tee off at 7:45 to wait around for two hours in order show me their card.
If anyone has any questions please call, text, or email me. See ya Monday.Dennis DaleyParticipantCan someone officially answer if the Enhanced GPS version of the GHIN App will be legal to use in the WA? It is “USGA rules compliant” and states so in the FQA’s on the GHIN site. John Tantillo is correct in what he wrote on August 9 and unless the WA states that they can not be used in this tournament it looks to me that they are legal. As far as slowing play I guess it is who is using the app or scope. When scopes became popular I thought it would slow play but after using them for years I find that they speed up play. No need to find a distance plate and step off the yardage. We’ve all played with someone that wants to walk all sides of the hole trying to read the break😏
Dennis DaleyParticipantCarl, Don’t know if you aware but whichever one of you carry a higher handicap can play down in the lower handicap flight but have to use the lower handicap.
Dennis DaleyParticipantWelcome to the WA Kevin. Only regret I’ve had is that I didn’t start playing in the tournament a lot sooner. You may want to consider playing in the Skins game on Sunday that Kevin Jones organizes which will played at the Grand Dunes. Great course and I believe that they are moving the Friday playoff to this course this year. Kevin does a great job with this tournament and uses your WA handicap. You can sign up as an individual. Details are in the Skins Game post on the Bulletin Board.
Dennis DaleyParticipantMichael, I signed up for this year for the first time but due to the Covid-19 they have pushed back the date of the Tournament to September 27th. I plan on playing in it and have heard all good comments on the tournament.
Dennis DaleyParticipantI second what Tommy wrote. My flight was fortunate to play four great courses finishing with my favorite, Caledonia.
This was the 5th year(with exception of last year) that I took care of the skins for our flights and found that the capability of double checking each individuals hole-by-hole score on your App was very helpful and validated skins. When you are handing out over $1000 for a skin the first day its reassuring to have a way to double check scores. I was unable to see the hole-by-hole scores for our sister flight and had to get someone from that flight to log on in order to check. Would it be possible to have that capability next year? Thanks.Dennis DaleyParticipantJason, it is on page 2 of this post on the Bulletin Board. Posted on August 18th. Let me know if you have any questions.
Dennis DaleyParticipantTom, I’ve already filled out sheets for all four courses and sent the rules out on the website. Hope you don’t mind but I thought I would do the skins for our flights this year. I have done this in the past. Thanks, Dennis
