I was wondering what happened there. So he got DQ’d yesterday after the round? The guys at the top all played about the same but the leader was kicked out? Is that right?
JOHN HERNDONParticipant100%. I said on Tuesday when we were told that they should just push tee times back to noon or 1 pm for Thursday just to let it dry a little more. The wind would’ve helped that as well. Lift, clean, and place. Period.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantThis is something we can agree on. Safety is one thing but we are sitting here now with vouchers for golf courses after paying $600 and they won’t let you play in peak season. This is bad on numerous levels.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantAgreed Harry. Some people just want to be petulant trolls this morning because they’re angry and bored. I’ll be neither.

JOHN HERNDONParticipantJohn Wolf- I meant to tell you how much I enjoyed our round together and then suddenly remembered that hasn’t happened. You enjoy your Thursday morning of being an internet troll and I’ll enjoy my day of being a person with real responsibilities to deal with.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantYou’re pissed off that someone stole your golf bag. Don’t deflect your anger on here to something that doesn’t concern you. You didn’t have a good week to start with and had a few people that were doing everything they could to avoid you at all costs after they played with you. Focus on that part and I hope you find your bag.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantJohn Wolf- maybe read the entire post. The argument has nothing to do with length even though the longest balls were right at the marker line. The argument is that the winner is claiming to hit a true tee shot directly on the line the last 2 years with no divots or ball damage in the surrounding area of the marker. That’s the problem.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantI saw the one at King’s North Monday about 10 times but saw the one at Sandpiper yesterday on the last hole and she even said “you guys are on your last hole, huh?” Awesome service. She probably didn’t like what myself or my riding partner said to her but we didn’t care. Be better.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantI had the same thing happen last year, Harry. Opening tee shot of the round was that hole and I hit one about 290 yards center cut, 2 feet from the line. Came back around and saw that someone had beat me….more than 100 yards behind me and no marks around the marker. Makes 0 sense at all.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantImagine those starting on The Gambler on the 1st day at Kings North. They had it as my last hole of the day initially and then it changed. My previous 17 holes would’ve dictated what my mentality was on that tee box had it stayed that way.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantJust as long as we don’t get a day like last year where we’re shuttled on and off the course and then given a rain check. For those who live close enough, that’s OK. For those that don’t, there should’ve been a credit given to them for this year. The $600 entry is fine but not when you don’t get all 4 days in. Right now, it looks like Wednesday is the only day showing something that may matter. The rest looks fine and Thursday’s temps look really good.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantAnd thank you for doing this, Scott. Heading down tomorrow. It’s almost time, boys and girls!
JOHN HERNDONParticipantAnybody for 3/4?
JOHN HERNDONParticipantThat one won’t even show up in my app store anymore.
JOHN HERNDONParticipantOk Chandler. This is helpful but I have 1 more question. The wa part; is there a hyphen after the wa or is it just wa then the email?
Do I enter wajherndon@morbern.com or

I also don’t have an 8 digit number. I always log in with a password I created. Any more advice? Thanks for the help! - AuthorPosts
