Maybe they have staffing issues just like every other business. Just think about this. If you aren’t paired with the elders you need to play your best and hope that isn’t too good to get a revision for exceptional play! Seems that some people know how to play to their exact handicap. This way you might miss calculate and it cost you.

Kirk RobertsParticipantI prefer to drive only because I have a bad back and some guys are too busy talking to notice the cart path is like super bumpy which can make for a painful ride. So I try to get there early enough to drive or just ask the guy to slow down on the big bumps!

Kirk RobertsParticipantIn regards to the noodle rule. Many courses around here have flipped the cups over and this shallows out the depth of the hole. The ball will go into the hole and you can use two fingers to remove it.
I take a small bottle of hand sanitizer and I just put some on between holes. It isnt a perfect solution but it is better than doing nothing.
If a person is still worried about touching the flag i say take some wipes with you and wipe down after each hole. And include wiping down your ball!I am sure this is too late to order but what about a World Am Mask for every player? Then everyone would have one to wear when they go into the clubhouse during their round.
Kirk RobertsParticipantI would assume that they could have the courses post standings for each flight. and also have your prizes at the clubhouse for you if you win anything. The app will also be helpful I hope.
Kirk RobertsParticipantI don’t really care how much it has changed but I do enjoy going to the 19th hole to see old playing partners. It is like a reunion to me. If they don’t have the 19th hole I believe I will wait till this virus issue is cleared up.If I just want to play golf over there I can get a golf package and play some very nice courses for a lot less money.
I know they will do their very best to provide a enjoyable tournament but with all the possible restrictions I am waiting to enter even though I have already paid for a condo. I can cancel that without loosing my money. But I don’t think the tournament would refund my money just because they couldn’t have a 19th hole.Kirk RobertsParticipantNow I think I know the answer but past experience has me making sure. This is a game where you can’t pay for other players scores? I ask because my first year that happened and we didn’t know I till at payment time we found out that the guy running the game “PUT IN FOR ANOYHER PLAYER THAT HAPPENED TO WIN A HOLE.
Needless to saywe all felt ripped off because the guy didn’t even know he was in the skins. HE WAS THERE TO WIN THE FLIGHT ONLY.
So that is why I had to ask.
ThanksKirk RobertsParticipantThe 19th hole will be open no matter the weather. Last year they had a power outage at the Convention Center and they still had people walking around under generator power. As for the weather…. Now that’s all up to the course. Some will do all they can to get you out but common sense might say stay in and wait. I don’t think they will wait till noon to decide because the scores have to be in at a certain time.
Hopefully the weather will hold off.Kirk RobertsParticipantEither way is fine. I know in the past…in some flights they split the flights on the last day. It gives a better chance for people to win something.
You can ask some of the guys on Monday and Tuesday and decide then. Or leave it as you want to run it. If people don’t like it they don’t have to play. It’s not a easy job for sure.
