Download the app to your phone. Right now it has the complete player list but as the WA updates tee times and so forth the app will get updated.

The Covid 19 update sent out on July 8 stated:

Max players to a course is 72
each person will have their own cart
    complimentary range balls
Everyone should reread this update, you can find it on the home page.

My hat is off to Scott and the entire World Am crew-I know they have spent countless hours to deliver as safe of a golf tournament as possible. The players need to hold up their part-wear masks when required, wash or sanitize their hands often and lookout for their fellow flight mate.

I believe we will play. Also, I think the final number will be less than 2100 but still a good number considering everything going on.

Tommy Briggs I am curious, 4300 carts for 2150 players?

Individual carts really speeds up play.

I want to thank the World Am Staff for another great Tournament.

2019 was my 6th straight World Am and, again, I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The 4 courses I played were in excellent condition and were fun to play. My GHIN was 19.1 and I played as a 20 each day, I utilized the max 9 rule on 1 occasion during the 72 holes I played. In my 4 rounds I think the max 9 rule was used 5 times so it did not effect our speed of play. The speed of play at my age (77) is effected more by 400 yd par 4’s and 500 yard par 5’s. I will be back next year and hopefully we will have great weather like this year.

One year there was two players whose wife’s wanted to ride with their husbands but were told they would have to rent a cart and follow their husbands but stay quite and almost out of sight. My friend and I were in the same flight and on the first day one of the players was in his foursome, his wife was very courteous and almost unseen the entire round. The third day I was in a foursome with the other player and by the 2nd hole his wife was up and traveling with us and to me she became almost an obstacle, he asked her to stay back but she popped up all over the place and we had to constantly watch for her—it was rude and uncalled for. My feeling toward this is let them follow but if they interfere with play they must leave the course.

Why do l play in the World Am?
    Enjoy golf
    Competitive golf
    Myrtle Beach
    Renewing acquaintances with old friends
    Meeting new friends
    Nites at the convention center
Skins games if my flight has one

Do I want to win my flight—YES!!
Does my world change if I don’t win my flight—-NO!!
I Don’t worry about things I cannot control, handicaps, handicap adjustments during World Am and, most of all, SANDBAGGING!!

I post every score immediately after playing and make the proper adjustments to my score before posting.

I do believe the World Am should put a quick reference rule book in the goodie bag and the local course rules should be written and a copy placed in each cart on event day.

    Good luck to everyone.

YES to Ready Golf. My buddies and I always play ready golf, it gives the slower players in our foursomes time to decide if the 9 iron I hit from this distance last round is the 9 iron I should hit today.

I leave the flagstick in because it helps me see the cup better especially on longer putts. Many of my friends leave it in on putts longer than 2-3 ft but take it out for 2-3 ft.

The WA should put a condensed version of the rules of golf in each gift bag or,at least, give everyone a link that would allow us to print out the condensed version.
