Ricky HermanParticipantYes love shotgun starts at this event. Pooled the four courses play and they prefer shotgun starts. Some tee times at course were at 11 which put them play in th hottest part of the day and finish around 5 and not getting back to hotels until 6. Some of my rounds were 5 hours. Plus with tee times u can’t mingle with your friends after the round because you went of early and some late. We had some great gentlemen in flights 24 and 25. Go back to shotguns start.

RickRicky HermanParticipantGross flight 60 and up will have skins. Along with the other flight that is with us. Skins will be 100 for the week which breaks down to 20 a day and 40 on Thursday which will be collected on Monday before teeoff. Rick Herman and Jeff Stapleton will run the skins. We have been doing our flights in the past. Anyone know they are playing in the gross flight you may contact me at hermanricky53@gmail.com or text at 2408311467. The First 3 days both flights together and on Thursday each flight will be separate.
Ricky HermanParticipantGoing to be interesting how many players in each flight. With over 3500 players. Plus some courses being used you can only tee off on hole 1. Split tees on the other courses. In March our first group flew around the front nine and than hit the last couple of groups teeing off 10. Than we need to pray no weather delays to back up tee times. This is why shotguns start work the best. If all players in your flight the app golf genius can keep score for the whole flight and show the leader board. We use it at MSGA events and VGA events.
Ricky HermanParticipantBest way to get the word out is to make the first 3 rounds tee times and the final round a shotgun. This will pair the leaders up and everyone at course the same time and getting done the same time.

We should get back to higher number next year due to travel restriction will be lifted and we can get our friends from Canada and across the pond back. We will be back to 2 carts to a foursome and flight numbers will be back to 48.

Ricky HermanParticipantGentlemen today we had 4 skins out. For 270 each. An Eagle on hole 11. A birdie on hole 12. A birdie on hole 17 and birdie on 18. Tomorrow skins will be separate flights. Thanks.
