As a good reminder, it’s always the week before Labor Day.
Tom McCainParticipantShotgun start is the only way to run this. You lose the community feel with tee times. Plus it just feels like a round at home. I woke up at 5 AM for three days to go play. I don’t do that at home. Plus I couldn’t figure a good way to run skins and folks love the skins competition.

Tom McCainParticipantThe official scorecard only has room for two signatures (technically). And we must recognize that the pro shops need cards in ASAP to score and relate to WA. A course card should do the trick. I always keep a personal card anyway to mark my FH, GIR, and number of putts. Do we have any idea how spaced out the tee times will be? From the first to last? With this many player’s and two flights, it’s got to be spread out a bit.

Tom McCainParticipantGuess I possess a little bit of luck. Won a set of irons one year and the flight winners Peak Vision sunglasses 3 years ago(?). Still wear them although the bridge pad fell off on one side. I’ll have to ask for a replacement pair!! They’ve done well, if I had bought them, they would have ended up broken shortly after. This will be my 16th year.
