Hi, Cruz. Don’t worry too much about the slow rounds. It’s kind of inevitable, with four players adhering to the rules, holing all putts, no max score, hitting provisionals when applicable, etc. True – it might end up being 5-6 hours, but it won’t seem that long because you shouldn’t be waiting too much on the group in front of you, unless pacing is a problem.
As for food, with so many choices here, I’m not sure MB HAS a “must eat” spot. Since you are playing Caledonia Sunday, might I suggest that you stop by the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. There are several good restaurants and a fun atmosphere there. Dead Dog Saloon is as good as any, friendly and reasonably priced.
