Well looks like they hit the 3000 and are working on an alternate list.
I think the biggest reasons for lack of participation is the cost of travel, coming from another country or even from across this one gets very expensive even for a single player let alone a whole family.
The other thing I think they need to look at are the prizes. Personally as much as I like to see the PGA Superstore sponsorship I would like to see some different options for winners of the prizes. I myself don’t really need a PGA gift card (if lucky enough to win something) I would rather have a prepaid visa card or other options for the gift cards like Home Depot or something along those lines.
