High handicap is not really that much slower than others as long as someone is hitting while other goes to ball, which should happen anyway. You can play bad fast just as easy a plying slow for sure. Most I have played with or behind played at a 4.5 hour speed anyway. Which is really slow for me. lol
It does not matter if it is low handicap or high handicap, NO ONE wants to be on course more that 4.5-5 hours. At the 19th hole, I am sure you will hear something said about a long round that day. Ask what flight:)
