Good morning, Not sure what happened during handicap verification but my status changed from handicap division to gross division which I didnt sign up for. I called to discuss this and got zero response to having this changed last week basically said they didnt hear from me and that it was to late to change. Now there might have been a computer clitch cause in our world today things do happen. I went into my profile to verify what I have filled out just to find out that all of that is blocked now so really have NO leg to stand on to verify this with tournament people. Now I have paid all this money to come all this way to compete in a division I have zero chance of winning and the excitement of coming to the MBWA is now gone. Can someone get me to understand that since I was told they cant change but yet people are dropping like flies and thats ok? In the GROSS division there was a drop and now that makes 2 groups that arent a foursome.

If your hcp is THAT much higher than scratch, I wouldn’t give up until they moved me. If you are only a couple shots higher than 0.0, just ride it out and make sure that it doesn’t happen again in 2026.
August 20, 2025 at 8:35 am #54100William HamiltonParticipantI did call WA and talked to someone who really didn’t care about helping to make the change. Then I emailed them and still waiting on a reply. If this was just a few stokes I would ride it out and hope I play well. But an 8.3 and defiantly not playing anywhere near that along with several operations this past year has defiantly taken a toll on my body…still working on getting my distance back. So, what do you do, they have my money! All I can do is come have fun and play golf! Been looking forward to this!

If you are an 8.3 you would be moved to a flight that has only 46 current players. Of course, they would have to re-order some tee times in both flights, which is work.
The advertised Index range for the Mid-Senior Gross flight is 0.0-7.0. If they knew you had an Index of 8.3 why didn’t they contact you (assuming you have an email address)?
Aside from that I sincerely hope you enjoy the golf, the assigned courses are decent. - AuthorPosts
