Is it my imagination or was the early prize list half or so of last year and with the value of the prizes also well below last year and past years. I think this is my 19th year straight playing and I love playing in this Tournament, it is well run, and a great event to test my game and meet some great people. I understand the complexity of running an event this large and plan on continuing to play as long as my game will allow. But, over the years the prizes and gift bag items have seemingly gone downhill. This is just my opinion and would be curious what others think but I would much rather funds go to high quality items in the gift bag rather than the 50 not so great early registration prizes. Even reduce the number of raffle prizes to a few dozen better quality items and focus on a quality gift bag. This way everyone wins!!!! Oh please do not give shoes ever again unless we can pick the shoe!!!
