In the past and I assume this year as well, take your gross score less your handicap to get your net score same with the main tournament. Take your Net score less the Course Rating to get your true Net score that is equal among all courses. Add that number to your partner’s using same calculation for each of the four rounds. Top five teams make Friday’s round.
I wonder if it is adjusted to accommodate scored according to par. For example, if team A players, both play 4 x, par 70 courses and team B both play 4 x par 72 courses. And both teams return the same net score. Then relative to stokes over par Team A is 4 strokes better on the scoreboard When in reality, they would be actually 4 strokes worse.
